About us

PhilConserve is a registered Philippine non-profit, non-governmental organization.  It operates the long-term Philippine Endemic Species Conservation Project (PESCP) and other local conservation and development projects financed from both national and international sources, for example, the United Nations and Frankfurt Zoological Society.  It is affiliated or has cooperated with, among other organizations, the Aklan State University and the Department of Environment & Natural Resources (DENR) of the Philippine Government; the Frankfurt Zoological Society and Ruhr-University Bochum in Germany; and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
.

PhilConserve  is dedicated to help protect and preserve the remaining forests and endangered species of the Philippines, particularly those located in Panay Island, home to many of the world’s highly endangered plants and wildlife. Although PhilConserve is based in the Philippines, its membership is open to Filipinos and non-Filipinos alike, in whatever country they may reside.
